Ferrari Monza SP2 | Redwood City CA
Seemingly sculpted by the wind, the Ferrari Monza SP2 is marked by the purity of its styling elements, an aesthetic that is futuristic but also respectful of the past. With an engine that is derived directly from that of the 812 Superfast - featuring optimized fluid dynamics in the intake ducts to deliver even higher performance – the Monza SP2 is the two-seater sibling of the one-seat Monza SP1. Both are part of a Ferrari concept known as ‘Icona’ (Icon) - and are among the most evocative cars in the company’s recent history. So evocative that Ferrari had to create a new segment of special limited series cars for clients and collectors who don't mind that these super cars are not street legal in the United States. Icona is where modern aesthetic is used to reinterpret a timeless style. The intention is to use a modern aesthetic to reinterpret a timeless style, with technologically advanced components and the highest performance possible through continuous innovation. The name "Monza" comes from one of the fastest - and most dangerous - racing tracks in the world also known as the "Temple of Speed." Both cars feature technologically advanced components that bring the highest performance possible thanks to continuous innovation. Like the SP1, the Monza SP2 is a roofless, windowless rollerskate based on the 812 Superfast. Only 499 models will be built for some very special collectors - and they are already sold out. The SP2's stunning bodywork is inspired by the 750 Monza and 860 Monza racing cars of the mid-1950s, referenced in the voluptuous front wing curves, abrupt rear buttresses, and unusual seating. Every bit of the coachwork is carbon fiber, perfectly bespoke. The 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine is front-mid-mounted and similar to that found in the Ferrari 812 Superfast but with 10 additional horsepower bringing the total to 809 horsepower and 530 lb-ft of torque. It will get you from zero to 60 in 2.9 seconds and reach a top speed of 186 mph. It's some lucky collectors' chance to own a powerful piece of automotive history. Ferrari history.

Unrivaled Features of The Ferrari Monza SP2
Aesthetically Pleasing
A car that seems sculpted by the wind, the Ferrari Monza SP2 brings purity to its styling elements that impress. It’s an aesthetic that is futuristic but at the same time respectful homage to Ferrari history.
Premium Innovation
The two-seat SP2 finds its roots in the Ferrari 166 MM “barchetta,” which was the cornerstone of a long line of open sports racing cars that came out of the Maranello factory through the 1950s and early 1960s.
Advanced Virtual Windscreen
Barchetta means "boat tail" in Italian, but Ferrari uses the term to mean a vehicle without a traditional windscreen. Both versions of the Monza come with a Virtual Windscreen, a carbon-fiber hoop in front of the driver that diverts air up and over one's head.
Excellence In All Areas
Ferrari engineers succeeded beautifully in using a modern aesthetic to reinterpret a timeless style, all while including high-tech components and the highest performance possible.
Drive In Style
Even the Monza SP2's LED light units are a work of art – expressed as a slender lightbar instead of quad round lenses at the rear.
